After 22 years of rescue of the road, Municipal Mayor Chanu is floating in praise

76-year-old Anwar Hossain of Beltia area is very happy to walk through the dream road after 22 years in Jamalpur and go to Beltia market. The expression of happiness in his eyes. Not only is this elderly Anwar Hossain. Hundreds of people from Junglepara Bazar to Beltia Bazar Police Lines area are floating in such a happy tide.
Local influential people blocked the road from Jangalpara Junction to Beltia Bazar Police Lines Junction for 22 years. Later, with the full cooperation of Jamalpur Municipality Mayor Alhaj Mohammad Chanoar Hossain Chanu, this road became passable.
Residents traveling on the road from Jangalpara to Beltia Bazar took part in a joyous procession and later felicitated with flowers after thanking Mayor Alhaj Mohammad Chanwar Hossain Chanu for facilitating smooth travel of the locals.
District Awami League Joint General Secretary Professor Suruzzaman, Jamalpur Press Club President Hafiz Raihan Sada, Councilor Masood Karim, Councilor Biju Ahmed and others were present during the floral greetings.
Abul Islam of Jangalpara area said, I have been going to different quarters for this road for 22 years. But no one saved the road. All spoke for the powerful. But when he came to the mayor for the last time, he promised to make the road passable. Later, according to that promise, he quickly rescued our road. We residents are very happy.
Local Shamchunnahar said, I could not take my father to the hospital when he was sick. Later, when the father died, the body was also taken out of the road and taken to the cemetery while knee-deep in water. He thanked the Mayor Alhaj Mohammad Chanwar Hossain Chanu for rescuing this long-standing road.
