Lutfur Rahman (Uzzal): On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Sheikh Rusel,the youngest son of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and Sheikh Russel Day-22,A colorful rally,discussion meeting and award distribution were held at Bandarban district administration.

On the occasion of Tuesday (October 18) day,a rally was taken out from the district administration office premises and ended at the district administration premises after circling the main road of the city.

Later,a discussion meeting was held on the occasion of Sheikh Russel Day in the district administration conference room.
Deputy Commissioner Yasmin Parvin Tibriji was present as the chief guest in the discussion meeting.Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Dr. Sheikh Chadek presided over the event.

Superintendent of Police Md.Tariqul Islam, PPM,Deputy Director of Local Government Department Md.Lutfur Rahman,Mayor Md. Islam Baby,Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Sazia Afroz,Executive Magistrate ASM Shahnewaz Mehdi,Rajib Kumar Biswas were present.During this,cake was cut with the children and prizes were distributed among the winners of the competition organized on the occasion of the day.

On the occasion of the day,at the beginning of the day,the ceremony of the day started by paying floral tributes on behalf of every government and private organization at the altar built for Sheikh Russel Memory.In the same function on the occasion of the day, “Educational institutions selected as the best Sheikh Russel Digital Lab were awarded at the district level”.

Also on the same occasion laptops were distributed among the successful freelancers trained under Learning and Earning (Development Scheme).Also, special prayers and prayers were held for the forgiveness of Sheikh Russel and Father of the Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and all the martyred members of the family.
