Subarna Rani Kar (35) wife of an expatriate died mysteriously in Karegaon village of Bahubal upazila in Habiganj. But the family claims that he committed suicide by drinking poison. Last Wednesday night around 2.30 am, he was staggered by poison, but his family members rescued him and took him to Sadar Hospital, where he died on Thursday. Sadar police station sent the dead body to the morgue.

She is the wife and mother of two children of Saudi expatriate Jayant Chandra Kar of that village. After post-mortem, the body was handed over to the family. However, the cause of his death is not known. However, OC Golam Mortuza said that the cause of death will be known after the post-mortem report.
