The police recovered the hanging body of a woman named Mahmuda Begum (50) from Dhuliakhal area of ​​Habiganj Sadar Upazila.

The body was recovered on Thursday (October 13) morning. Deceased Mahmuda Begum is the wife of Abdul Quduch Mia of village Dhuliakhal.

Locals said that the other family members woke up in the morning and went to Mahmuda Begum’s room and got no response. Later they broke the door of the room and entered and saw Mahmuda Begum hanging with a cloth around her neck. Immediately his relatives took him to Habiganj Sadar Modern Hospital where the doctor on duty declared him dead.

Golam Mortuza of Habiganj Sadar Model Police Station (OC) said that initially it seems that the woman committed suicide by hanging herself. But nothing is known about the reason why he committed suicide. Police are investigating the matter. The body has been sent to Habiganj Sadar Modern Hospital morgue for postmortem.
