Land development tax not only increases the government’s revenue, those who pay land development tax get a receipt and it is necessary for ownership.
The senior secretary said that earlier, the desired services of the people regarding land were not ensured. To resolve land inconsistencies, a proper survey and survey of each land is required. For this, if a digitized survey can be completed across the country, the original ownership of the land will be 100% accurate. For this purpose, the Department of Land Records and Survey is working at the field level in a modern method. There are 62 mouzas in a project of the Chittagong City Corporation. The people will benefit if they can be digitized through a pilot project. Once the land mutation occurs after applying online with your own mobile number, the land owner will be able to collect the paper or khatian from home and pay the land tax online, and there is no need to go to the land office for this.
