Six Russian diplomats have been expelled from the Balkan country of Montenegro.

The six diplomats were working in the Russian Embassy in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro.

The foreign minister of Montenegro said in a statement that the six Russian diplomats were ordered to be expelled last Thursday because they were involved in espionage.
