Did not deviate from Bangabandhu’s ideals: Former MP Syeda Zebunnecha Haque

Sylhet district Awami League advisory council member, former MP Syeda Jebunnesa Haque said, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s ideals have faced many obstacles while walking, he had to be injured in a grenade attack. But the greatest Bengali of a thousand years did not deviate from the ideals of Bangabandhu. I got people’s love in return. Awami League has never kept this Trinamool worker away. Bangabandhu’s daughter Jannetri Sheikh Hasina awarded me the Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatun Necha Mujib Medal, proving that hard work and patience never fail.
He said, Red Crescent Society is always working in the service of humanity. Red Crescent Society contributes immensely in rescuing people from any calamity in the society. He said this while addressing the guest of honor at the reception organized by Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Sylhet Unit.
On Thursday (September 29) in the auditorium of Sylhet Red Crescent Hospital, Bangmata Begum Sheikh Fazilatun Nesha Mujib Padak-2022 was awarded to Sylhet District Awami League Advisory Council Member, Sylhet Red Crescent Unit Executive Council Member Syeda Zebunnesha Haque.
Acting Chairman of Red Crescent Society Sylhet Unit Mansuzzaman Chowdhury Babul gave a welcome speech at the event- General Secretary of Red Crescent Sylhet Unit Md. Abdur Rahman Jamil.
Bangladesh Red Crescent Society central management board member Mustak Ahmad Palash, Sylhet unit member Ferdous Chowdhury Ruhel, member Md. Swaib Ahmed, Nurunnecha Hena, Director of Matrimangal Hospital Dr. Nurul Alam Khan and Principal of Nursing Institute Renuara Akhtar.

Today’s reception will be historic for the Red Crescent Unit. Jebunnecha Haque has brought glory to the Red Crescent Sylhet Unit and the land and people of the People’s Republic of Bengal.
