Anti-corruption social movement orientation held at Srimangal

Orientation on TI, TIB and voluntary anti-corruption social movement was held at Srimangal in Moulvibazar.

The Orientation was held on Thursday (September 22) at 9:30 am at the Grand Taj Restaurant and Party Center on Moulvibazar Road organized by the Conscious Citizens Committee (SANAK) TIB Srimangale.

TIB Srimangal Area Coordinator-CE Parvez Koiri delivered the opening speech at the function, President of Conscious Citizens Committee Srimangal Dipendra Bhattacharya. Md. Ariful Islam, Cluster Coordinator-CE of TIB Sylhet discussed the goals and objectives of TI, TIB and ACG in the event.
Journalists Syed Chayed Ahmed and Shah-Arif Ali Nasim, members of the Conscious Citizens Committee (SANAK) Srimangal also spoke on the occasion. Convenors, Joint Convenors and all members of the four branches of Active Citizen Group (ACG) participated in the day-long orientation. The four ACG branches are Srimangal Upazila Bhumi, Srimangal Upazila Health Complex, Manai Ullah High School and Varuna Faizur Rahman Government Primary School. The program included various agendas including TI-TIB, Voluntary Anti-Corruption Movement, ACG Operation Guidelines, TIB Code of Ethical Conduct, Open Discussion and Question Answer, Anti-Corruption Oath. The program concluded at 2 pm with the President’s address and lunch.
