In Srimangal of Moulvibazar, cows and cow house construction materials, ducks, chicken houses and goats have been distributed as grants under the Integrated Livestock Development Project and the Integrated Livestock Development Project in Haor region with the aim of improving the socio-economic and living standards of the backward small ethnic groups living in the flat land.

At 11:30 am on Thursday (September 7), these items were distributed among the beneficiaries at the Upazila Livestock Department and Veterinary Hospital premises on Srimangal Sagardighi Road.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ali Rajib Mahmud Mithun presided over the event. Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Dr. Moulvibazar – Member of Parliament of 4 constituencies was the chief guest in the program moderated by Karn Chandra Mallik. Md. Abdus Shaheed. The district animal resource officer was Dr. as a special guest. Md. Abdus Chamad, Police Inspector (Investigation) Aminul Islam etc.

It may be noted that 69 bulls were distributed among the beneficiaries of the small ethnic groups, 4 RCC pillars, 5 tins and 160 bricks were provided to each of the 69 people for the construction of cow houses. 20 to 345 people were given ducks and 20 to 345 people were given chicken. 690 poultry houses were distributed. Besides, 200 goats were distributed.
