The discussion meeting was held at the initiative of Bandarban District Information Office as a part of the program to observe the 48th martyrdom anniversary of the great architect of independence, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day-23 with due dignity.
Deputy Commissioner Shah Mujahid Uddin was present as the chief guest in the discussion meeting organized at the training hall of the Youth Development Department on Tuesday (August 29).Discussion Meeting Presided Over By District Information Officer Md.Mizanur Rahman.
At the beginning of the program,One Minute silence was observed in humble respect to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and all the martyrs of his family.Bandarban Hill District Council member Laxmi pada Das, freedom fighter M.A Hakim Chowdhury,Youth Development Department Deputy Director Md Shahidul Islam and Youth Training Center DPC Md Iqbal Kawsar were present as special guests. Journalists,civil society representatives were also present At Meeting.
In the meeting, the present guests highlighted various events of the colorful working life of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.At the same time,the speakers respectfully noted the contribution of Father of the Nation Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in the formation of independent sovereign Bangladesh and his role in the reconstruction of the country.Speakers also highlighted the contribution of his daughter Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the formation of Golden Bangla.
