Meeting of BNP leaders with Japanese ambassador

BNP leaders held a meeting with Japanese Ambassador Ito Naoki in Dhaka regarding the ongoing political situation in the country.
The meeting was held at the BNP Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan on Sunday (September 18) at 10 am. The meeting lasted for an hour and a half.
BNP media cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan confirmed this information to Bhorer paper. He said, Ito Naoki reached the political office of Gulshan at ten in the morning to meet the Japanese ambassador with the BNP secretary general.
BNP Standing Committee Member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, Organizational Secretary Shama Obaid were present in the meeting.
At the end of the meeting, when asked if there was a discussion about the issue of leaders being injured in the attack on BNP’s program yesterday, he said that it is bilateral, Bangladesh-Japan relations have been going on for a long time. Among the external donors, Japan is our largest donor and the bilateral issues between our two countries were discussed. And there has been a general discussion on the contemporary politics of Bangladesh.
