Residents of Sunamganj’s Doarabazar staged a human chain and mass march to demand the withdrawal of conspiratorial false cases against farmers.

An hour-long human chain and mass march program was held at the local Khasiamara rubber dam area under the leadership of Abadi Krishak Abdul Awal, the central leader of Jatiya Krishak Party, on Sunday afternoon.
After the rally, former chairman of local Surma Union Shahjahan Master, UP member Jamal Uddin, Hashan Ali, among the farmers Abdul Awal, Shamsul Haque, Binay Bhushan Purkayastha, Abdul Haque, Farhad Alam, Zakir Hossain, Akul Mia, Afiz Ali, Marfat spoke. Ali, Shukur Ali, Naushad Ali, Hanif Ali, Altab Ali, Arab Ali, Jamal Uddin, Kamal Mia, Maidar Ali, Ainul Haque etc.
The speakers said that the accused marginal farmers under the Khasiamara Rubber Dam are being subjected to undue harassment in the conspiratorial case filed by the money-grubbing lessee and surveyor Ripon Chakma fueled by the interest-seeking circles of the area. The speakers warned that if these conspiratorial false cases are not withdrawn immediately, the local people including the farmers will soon announce a strict movement. Earlier, the huge procession including the aggrieved farmers circumambulated the various roads of the area.
