A young woman named Shobha Akter (18) of North Sangar village of Baniachang upazila of Habiganj district died after taking sleeping pills. She is the daughter of Abid Mia of that village. Last Tuesday night he fell asleep after eating as usual. But in the morning, the family members called out as they did not wake up. Even after that he did not respond and he was taken to Habiganj Sadar Hospital where the doctor declared him dead on Wednesday afternoon. However, the cause of his death is not known. However, sources said that she had a love affair with a young man from the same village.

Sadar Thana police prepared the body and sent it to the morgue for post-mortem.
