Sewing machines and cash have been distributed on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib in Moulvibazar.

On Tuesday (August 8) morning, a discussion meeting, distribution of sewing machines and distribution of cash was held in the conference room of the District Commissioner in collaboration with the Moulvibazar district administration and the district women’s affairs department on the occasion of the 93rd birth anniversary celebration of Bangmata Begum Fazilatunnecha Mujib.
Under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Dr. Urmi Binte Salam, Moulvibazar-3 Member of Parliament Neshar Ahmad was present as the chief guest.
Member of parliament of reserved seat Syeda Zohra Alauddin, Zilla Parishad Chairman Alhaj Michbahur Rahman, Moulvibazar Police Superintendent were present as special guests in the ceremony. Manjur Rahman, Municipal Mayor. Fazlur Rahman.
In his speech, the chief guest said that Bangladesh gained independence through a long struggle and struggle under the leadership of Bangabandhu. Fazilatun Nesha Mujib was the motivation behind this fight-struggle-movement. He followed Bangabandhu’s entire political life like a shadow and was a source of inspiration in his every work. When Bangabandhu was repeatedly living as a prisoner in the hands of the Pakistani rulers after the 6-point declaration of the Bengali Nation’s Liberation Charter, Awami League leaders and activists at all levels used to run to Fazilatunnessa Mujib. He used to convey various directions of Bangabandhu to them and inspire them to continue the struggle. In the Agartala Conspiracy Case, Bangabandhu was released on parole by some miscreants who conspired to jeopardize the freedom struggle. Then Begum Mujib’s firm stance against parole accelerated Bengal’s liberation struggle. Following the ideals of Swami Bangabandhu like a shadow, Begum Mujib did many risky things in her life. For this he had to suffer a lot. As a result of the devotion, patriotism, visionary thinking, intelligence and bravery shown by Begum Mujib in the movement and struggle of the people of this country, along with the Father of the Nation, she is sitting on the seat of Banga Mata today. He will forever be remembered for his unique and extraordinary role in the politics of this country. This noble woman was killed on August 15 with the father of the nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, by the bullet of a murderer.
