A young man named Salim Mia (30) was killed in a clash between two sides over a football game in Ajmiriganj. At this time, 5 more people were injured.

The final match between two teams of Sharifnagar village was held at Ajmiriganj Goor Bazar ground yesterday on Saturday afternoon. At that time, while entering the field, a young man named Rocky had an argument with Salim Mia, son of Saraj Mia of Sharifnagar village. Due to this, the conflict broke out. Salim Mia was injured. Immediately after taking him to the hospital, the doctor on duty declared the injured Salim dead.

Ajmiriganj police station OC Masuk Ali went to the spot after receiving the information. Meanwhile, the dead body was sent to Habiganj Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. OC said, there are injury marks on Selim’s body. The operation is on to nab the accused.
