World Youth Skills Day celebrated in Chapainawabganj

A rally and discussion session on “World Youth Skills Day-2023” was held at Chapainawabganj Technical Training Center (TTC). “World Youth Skills Day-2023” is being celebrated today 15 July 2023 in Bangladesh through various programs like all over the world, keeping in mind the slogan “Developing the skills of teachers, trainers and youth to build a possible future”. The main objective of this day announced by the United Nations is to call the youth of the world to become skilled in various skills and highlight the important role of skilled youth in facing the global challenges of the future. Chapainawabganj Technical Training Center (TTC) organized the Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP) project of the finance department of the Ministry of Finance on Saturday. Earlier at 10:30 am, a rally started from the main gate of TTC, circumambulated Doel Chattar and ended in front of TTC academic building. Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mr. Md. Rawshan Ali inaugurated the rally. The meeting started with the recitation of the Holy Quran conducted by TTC senior teacher Md. Saidi Hossain. The meeting was chaired by the principal of the institution Md. Moin Uddin. Karthik Chandra Debnath, Assistant Director of District Employment and Manpower Office, was present as a special guest in the meeting. Senior teacher of TTC Md. Saidi Hossain delivered the welcome speech at the meeting. Bargharia Union Parishad Chairman’s Representative Md. Afzal Hossain (Bhulon), Member, Ward No. 4, Former Ward Member Al Amin Chowdhury, Sadar Model Police Station SI Mosabbir Ahmed, parents involved in skill development training, trainees, civil society representatives, journalists and trainers of the institution were present in the meeting among others.
