BNP’s central executive committee member, Sisik former mayor Ariful Haque Chowdhury said, ‘Whenever the youth wakes up, then any movement succeeds. This government does not have the basic rights of the people. A country cannot run like this. The people of the country want the fall of this government. The Awami League government has deprived the people of the country of their right to speak, right to vote and freedom of speech. The people of the country are disoriented today due to the increase in commodity prices. Today people have come down to the streets with BNP. For the rights of the disenfranchised youth of the country, like the rest of the country, we must join the youth rally in Sylhet on July 9 regardless of party affiliation and speed up the movement to topple this government.

He said these things in the speech of the chief guest in the preparatory meeting on the occasion of Taranya’s rally in Sylhet on July 9 under the initiative of 1st Ward BNP at Dargah Gate area of the city on Friday (July 7) night.
