Anniversary And Get Together Celebration Held In Bandarban

Bandarban’s Sualak High School celebrated its 40th year of Establishedment and alumni celebrations for the first time.On Saturday (July 1) Sualak High School Alumni Council of Bandarban organized a day-long discussion meeting and commemoration, felicitation of brave freedom fighters,Sports competition,distribution of prizes and cultural events in the school premises.
Minister for Chittagong Hill Tract Affairs Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) Was present as the chief guest in the event.Abdul Kuddus,the founder of Sualak High School and former chairman of Bandarban Sadar Upazila Parishad Presided over the event.Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md.Khorshed Alam (Additional Responsibilities),Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Md.Shah Alam,Municipal Awami League General Secretary Samshul Islam,Get Together Celebration Committee Chief Coordinator Lutfur Rahman Uzzal were Present.
Apart from the invited guests,More Than three hundred former students were present in the event.A colorful procession is taken out from Sualak toll point first thing in the morning on the occasion of Get Together. After rounding the main road,the procession assembled at Swalak High School premises. Later discussion meeting and commemoration ceremony started in the school Premises.
As The Chief Guest Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Minister Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) Said that the current government Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is working for the development of education.In continuation of this, the journey of new educational institutions as well as universities has started in the mountainous areas.
Minister Bir Bahadur said that it has become very easy for the students of Bandarban to get advanced education, which has only been due to the welfare of the Awami League government. Many students are now climbing the high peak of education by enrolling in Bandarban University located in the district headquarters.Minister Bir Bahadur also said that now various educational institutions have been created even in the remote areas of the hills and the education system has also been modernized so that everyone can get education.
After the discussion meeting,Durbar former’s magazine Replika Cake was cut and the statue was unveiled.Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Minister Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing (MP) Cut this cake and wished for the success of the publication.The magazine is being edited by Lutfur Rahman (Uzzal) Chief Coordinator of the Festival Celebration Committee.
