A pedestrian named Biswajit Singh (46) was crushed by the motorcycle on the side of the loom board on Bhanugach-Madhavpur road last Sunday (September 11) at 11 pm while driving a motorcycle recklessly in Kamalganj, Moulvibazar. Meanwhile, two riders lost control of the motorcycle and overturned on the road. Later, the locals rescued Biswajit and seriously injured motorcyclist Abdul Halim, decorator businessman of Bhanugach Bazar and car driver Sattar Mia and admitted them to Kamalganj Upazila Health Complex. As the condition of 3 people is critical, they were sent to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital. Biswajit Singh died there at around 12:30 pm while undergoing treatment.

Deceased Biswajit Singh is the only son of deceased Narendra Kumar Singh of Baghabari village of Madhavpur Union.

Kamalganj police station OC Yardous Hasan confirmed the incident and said that one pedestrian died and two motorcyclists are under treatment at Sadar Hospital. Legal action will be taken if complaints are received.
