In Habiganj’s Lakhai, the bus lost control and hit three battery-powered easybikes and rammed into a roadside shop. At least 20 people, including passengers in the bus and easy bike, were injured.
The injured have been admitted to Lakhai Upazila Health Complex and Habiganj 250-bed District Headquarters Hospital.

On Wednesday (June 21) at noon, an accident took place on Habiganj-Lakhai regional highway in Bamoi No. 3 pool area of the upazila.

It is known that a bus going from Lakhai to Morakari lost control at pool number three area and entered the roadside shop. At that time, the bus also hit three battery operated easybikes. 20 people were injured including bus and shop people and easy bike passengers. Later, the injured were admitted to Lakhai Upazila Health Complex and Habiganj 250-bed District Headquarters Hospital.

Lakhai Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Muhammad Nunu Mia said that the bus involved in the accident is at the spot. The police were sent there.
