A young man named Sajib Ali Hossain (22) was killed by lightning while fishing in Lodarbil Howar, Adampur, Kishoreganj, neighboring Ajmiriganj. Another person was injured at this time. The accident happened last Thursday (June 15) around 9:30 pm.

Farid Miah of Baragirkandi village of Sajib Adampur Union and injured Ruhul Amin (20) are sons of Abdul Miah of the same village.

According to local sources, Sajib and Ruhul went fishing together at night. Stormy winds, rain and thunder started around 9:30pm. At that time, Sajib and Ruhul were injured by lightning. Later, Sajib Ali died on the way to Habiganj Sadar Hospital after being rescued by locals. Ruhal Amin is under treatment in a Habiganj hospital.
