Bangladesh finally got the medal. The team beat Australia to win bronze in the recurve men’s team category at the World Archery Stage-3 competition. Bangladesh won by 5-4 set points. China beat India to win gold in this event.

Bronze medal also confirmed for Bangladesh. Sagar Islam, Mohammad Hakim Ahmed Rubel and Ramakrishna Saha team.

Earlier, there was a 4-4 draw between Bangladesh and Australia in the first stage. Later, everyone from both the teams shot one arrow, Bangladesh’s score was 29 and Australia’s score was 27. Bangladesh won the bronze by defeating Australia 5-4 in the match.

Dia Siddiqui, who was out of the team due to lack of form, returned this season. But he could not perform as expected.
