Tree planting program organized by Bandarban district Chhatra League on the occasion of World Environment Day

On the occasion of the World Environment Day, a tree planting program was conducted by Bandarban District Chhatra League.Bandarban District Awami League General Secretary (Acting) Laxmi pada Das inaugurated the tree planting program on Monday (5th June).About 500 saplings of different species were planted And Distribute in Bandarban University,local King field,District Council premises and Bandarban Government College. This tree planting program was carried out with the all-out efforts of District Chhatra League President Pulu Marma.Bandarban District Chhatra League general Saddam Hossain Manik along with a large number of leaders and activists of district, college and municipal Chhatra League were present.Chhatra League President Pulu Marma said that as part of making Bangladesh a beautiful and dreamy place to live,Bandarban District Chhatra League organized a tree planting program on a day like World Environment Day.Deforestation is the only cause of global adverse climate change. Adverse behavior of nature is being observed as a result of unplanned tree killing.So we should plant three more trees before Cutting one tree.There is no alternative to tree planting to ensure a healthy environment.Meanwhile, he also called on everyone to plant more trees to create a clean and healthy environment. Bandarban District Chhatra League General Secretary Saddam Hossain Manik said that the importance of trees is immense to protect the balance and biodiversity of the environment.To protect the environment and biodiversity and to sustain this beautiful greenery, Bangladesh Chhatra League conducted this tree planting program.Such activities will continue under the initiative of Chhatra League.
