Sri Lanka returned to parity with a comfortable win

After losing the first match at home against Afghanistan, Sri Lanka won the second match by a landslide. The champions of Asia scored more than 300 runs and all out the Afghans by 200 runs.
Picked up a huge victory of 132 runs. In that victory, parity returned in the three-match ODI series. The Lankans also won a big victory against the Afghans in terms of runs in the ODI.
Sri Lanka scored 323 runs for 6 wickets after winning the toss in Hambantota last Sunday. Almost all the batters of the team got runs. Among them, Kushal Mendis scored 78 runs off 75 balls. Opener Pathun Nishanka played an innings of 43 runs and Karunaratne 52 runs. They added 82 runs to the opening pair.
Samarawickrama scored 44 runs off 46 balls. Dhananjaya De Silva scored 29 off 24 balls, followed by Shanaka 23 off 13 and Hasaranga 29 off 12 balls with four fours and a six.
In reply, Afghanistan were bowled out for 191 runs in 42.1 overs. Ibrahim Zadran and Hasmatullah Shahedi scored fifties. But others failed. The visitors lost the last 8 wickets for 45 runs. Among them, two spinners Hasaranga and Dhananjaya grabbed three wickets each.
