53rd National School, Madrasa and Technical Education Summer Sports Competition Concludes in Chapainawabganj

The closing and prize-giving ceremony of the 53rd Bangladesh National School, Madrasa and Technical Education Summer Sports Competition-2026 was held in Chapainawabganj on Monday. The programme was organized by the District Education Office at the Old District Stadium in Chapainawabganj on September 14.
District Commissioner Abu Saleh Md. Musa Jangi attended the programme as the chief guest. Additional Superintendent of Police (Administration and Finance) A.N.M. Wasim Firoz, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the District Council Abu Saleh Mohammad Hasnat and Additional District Commissioner (Education and ICT) Shahin Sultana were present as special guests. District Education Officer (Acting) Md. Abdul Matin presided over the programme.
Students from various schools, madrasas and technical education institutions across the district participated in different events of the competition. Speakers said sports competitions play an important role in the physical and mental development of students. Such activities also help develop discipline, leadership qualities and a spirit of mutual cooperation among young learners.
At the end of the programme, prizes were distributed among the winners and outstanding students in various events. Teachers, officials, students and guardians from different educational institutions attended the programme.
