In Nilphamari’s Kishoreganj, the Upazila Health and Rural Development Officer Dr. Nil Ratan Deb was accused of arguing with him, and the matter was resolved after he was assured that such incidents would not happen in the future. It is learned that a contracting company named Badhan Traders got the job of supplying food items to the Upazila Health Complex. Since Merdeha Construction did not get the job, around 11 am on March 10, some people including the owner of the contracting company Almas and Upazila Jubo Dal’s Joint General Secretary Hasanur Rahman entered the health officer’s room one after another and the Jubo Dal leader, influenced by others, argued with him. The Jubo Dal leader realized his personal mistake and later on March 11, the matter was resolved in the room of the Upazila Health and Welfare Officer with the assurance that such incidents would not happen in the future, including Kishoreganj Upazila BNP General Secretary AKM Tajul Islam Dalim, Jubo Dal President Mahmudul Haque Tipu and leaders of BNP’s affiliate organizations.
In this regard, Upazila Health and Welfare Officer Dr. Nil Ratan Deb said, a contracting company came to my room after not getting the tender and there was an argument. Later, after a fair discussion, the matter was resolved with the assurance that such incidents would not happen in the future.
