An iftar and prayer mahfil was held in honor of the journalist at the District Press Club auditorium on Thursday evening.
Abdullah Al Mamun Khan Rony, the influential leader and Mayor candidate of Netrokona BNP, organized this iftar and prayer mahfil. He sought the cooperation of all, including the journalists.  The event was moderated by District Press Club General Secretary M. Kibria Chowdhury Helim. Former Vice President of the Press Club and freedom fighter Haider Jahan Chowdhury, Vice President of the Press Club, Journalist Abu Zahid, Former Press Club General Secretary and Senior Journalist Shyamlendu Pal, Former Press Club General Secretary M. Mukhalsur Rahman Khan, and many others were present. Various print, electronic, and online journalists were present at the Iftar and Doa Mahfil.
