Due to the ongoing war situation in the Middle East, the airfields of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Doha have been closed, causing major disruptions in international flight operations at Chittagong Airport. This information was given in the latest press bulletin published on Saturday.

According to the bulletin, a total of 12 international flights of various airlines have been canceled throughout the day today. Of these, 1 arrival and 2 departure flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines from the Middle East have been canceled.

In addition, 2 arrival and 2 departure flights of Air Arabia from the Middle East have been canceled. 1 arrival and 2 departure flights of US-Bangla Airlines from the Middle East and 1 arrival and 1 departure flight of Salam Air have also been canceled.

However, some international flights have operated normally. Among them, Salam Air flight OV-401 arrived from Muscat to Chittagong and flight OV-402 departed from Chittagong to Muscat.

On the other hand, two arrival flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines—BG-138 (Madina to Chittagong) and BG-122 (Muscat to Chittagong) landed in Chittagong.
