Khasru in discussion for chairmanship in Netrokona Bangla Union

Mukhlesur Rahman Khan Khasru, former co-organizing secretary of the district BNP and joint general secretary of Sadar Upazila BNP, is in wide discussion as a candidate for the chairmanship in the upcoming elections of the Bangla Union Parishad of No. 4 Singha in Sadar Upazila.
It is learned that Mukhlesur Rahman Khan Khasru, chairman of Netrokona Central Cooperative Bank Limited and former co-organizing secretary of the district BNP, has been actively participating in every movement and struggle of the nationalist party to establish the people’s voting rights for the past one and a half decades. He has been attacked and imprisoned several times for political reasons. He worked day and night with his leaders and activists to ensure that the BNP nominated candidate District BNP President Professor Dr. Md. Anwarul Haque, won the 13th National Parliament election. He played an important role in party activities by showing his organizational skills in that election.
He has also been working in the area for a long time to implement various social programs on his own initiative and to promote education. He is participating in the prayers and iftar mahfils organized at various places of No. 4 Singher Bangla Union on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan and exchanging views with the locals. It is known that Mukhlesur Rahman Khan Khasru has a clean image and wide acceptance among people of all classes and professions of the union. He is also well-known to the locals as the leader of BNP during its difficult times. Chairman candidate Mukhlesur Rahman Khan Khasru said, “If I am elected, I will turn No. 4 Singher Bangla Union into a model union. I will faithfully fulfill my responsibility in implementing the grassroots-based programs announced by BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman.
