A preparatory meeting was held in Louhajang Upazila to celebrate the Great Martyr’s Day and International Mother Language Day 2026 with due dignity.

The meeting was organized at the Upazila Parishad meeting room at 11 am on Tuesday at the initiative of the Upazila administration. Various programs taken on the occasion of the day were discussed in the meeting.

Decisions were taken to implement various programs including discussion meeting, morning procession, wreath laying at Shaheed Minar, painting field, prayer mahfil in a smooth and peaceful manner.

Assistant Commissioner Bhumi Md. Basit Sattar, OC of Louhajang Police Station Monirul Islam, officials of various departments, public representatives, teachers, journalists and well-wishers were present at the time under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer Farzana Bobby Mitu.

The meeting called for the day to be celebrated with dignity through the coordinated participation of all.
