Sheikh Md. Zahirul Islam Munna, the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sreemangal Police Station in Moulvibazar district, has been selected as the best officer-in-charge for the month of January 2026, according to the uniform criteria of the police.

The monthly welfare meeting of the district police was held at the Moulvibazar District Police Lines on Monday (February 16).

The meeting was presided over by District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Billal Hossain. Officers and forces were awarded in various categories for their contribution to the workplace in the meeting.

At this time, Officer-in-Charge of Sreemangal Police Station Sheikh Md. Zahirul Islam Munna received the award and certificate as the “Best OC” of the district for the month of January 2026.

In addition, SI of Sreemangal Police Station Sajeeb Chowdhury received the award as the best SI of the district. In this regard, OC Zahirul Islam Munna said that this achievement belongs to the people of Sreemangal.

He sought the cooperation of the people of Sreemangal in maintaining law and order. According to the locals, such an initiative immediately after the elections will send a positive message in environmental awareness and beauty protection.
