Dhaner Sis won 14 out of 16 seats in Chittagong. Daripalla won 2.

Morning Glory’s Chittagong team visited various centers from the night before the election until the end of the election.

Team Morning Glory Chittagong rushed to the center where unwanted news was received. As soon as they went, the army team was also present at the scene. The situation is under control.

There was a fear of many rumors spreading on the night before the election. However, it was learned on the spot that it was the incident of the presiding officer entering the center. Workers of both parties suspected each other and misunderstood each other.

There was a lot of crowd at the polling stations since morning, according to the information given by the presiding officers, 40% of the voters exercised their right to vote till 12 noon. The same situation is known to be in almost all the centers of Chittagong city. From 3 pm onwards, the polling stations were almost empty of voters.

As the results were being announced at night, there was a surge of joy and happiness among the BNP leaders and activists. However, the high command requested the leaders and activists not to take out joyous processions.

According to the information received so far, BNP got a total of 17,44,578 votes in the 16 constituencies of Chittagong, while Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami got 9,74,803 votes. The counting shows that the popularity of Dhaner Sis  is 55.87% more than Daripalla in Chittagong.
