Memorandum of Understanding between Gazipur City Corporation and a2i
A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Gazipur City Corporation and a2i to provide modern and cashless services at the doorsteps of citizens. The agreement was formally concluded at the a2i conference room located at the ICT Tower in Agargaon, the capital.
Through this agreement, citizens of Gazipur City Corporation will now be able to pay various civic service fees including holding tax, trade license, water supply and sewage management through a2i’s integrated payment gateway ‘Ekpay’.
In this case, there will be an opportunity to use various payment channels including mobile banking (including bKash, Nagad, Upaya, Rocket, Tap, Telecash), card banking (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Taka-Pay), internet banking and e-wallets. The event was presided over by a2i Project Director (Additional Secretary) Mohd Abdur Rafiq.
Gazipur City Corporation Chief Executive Officer (Joint Secretary) Muhammad Sohel Hasan was present as the chief guest. a2i Joint Project Director (Joint Secretary) Md. Rashidul Mannaf Kabir spoke as the special guest.
a2i Head of Program Management Abdullah Al Fahim delivered the welcome speech. Senior officials of a2i and Gazipur City Corporation were also present at the event.
