Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has said that if Jamaat comes to power, Sylhet’s Osmani International Airport will be converted into a truly full-fledged international airport. If it comes to power, this country will be handed over to the youth.

He said these things as the chief guest at a historic large election rally organized by the district Jamaat in Kulaura, Moulvibazar on Saturday (February 7) afternoon. At this time, the Jamaat Amir said, ‘Jamaat will work uncompromisingly in the future to realize the dreams of those who have created a new position for this country by working hard.

In addition, mentioning that the losses in Biman are due to corruption, he said, ‘If Jamaat comes to power, it will be stopped forever with priority. Because the only goal of Jamaat is to build a Bangladesh free of extortionists and corruption.’ The Jamaat Amir concluded his speech.

After the public meeting, Jamaat Ameer introduced the Jamaat nominated candidates for Moulvibazar-1 (Juri-Barlekha) and Moulvibazar-2 (Kulaura) constituencies on the stage and sought votes for them.

The meeting was chaired by District Jamaat Ameer and Moulvibazar-2 MP candidate Engineer Sayed Ali and moderated by Secretary Md. Yamir Ali, and was attended by party Assistant Secretary General Ehsanul Mahbub Zubair, leaders and activists from various levels, and a large number of common people.
