The inauguration of the newly constructed second floor of Building No. 2 of the Chapainawabganj District Bar Association was held on Saturday (7 February) at 12:00 noon. The inauguration was formally conducted by the chief guest, Alhaj Advocate Md. Shahjahan Biswas, a senior and veteran lawyer of the district and former president of the District Bar Association for 11 terms. The presence of the chief guest created an atmosphere of joy, enthusiasm, and emotion among the attending lawyers. Colleagues highly praised him for his long-standing contributions, integrity, and leadership in the legal profession, and prayed for his good health and long life. Speeches at the inauguration ceremony were delivered by Advocate Mohammad Isahaq, President of the District Bar Association; PP Advocate Md. Abdul Wadud; Advocate Md. Abu Nazr Hossain Khan (British); Alhaj Advocate Moha. Abdus Samad; Advocate Md. Golam Kabir and Advocate Md. Jabdul Haque. Speakers stated that the inauguration of the second floor of the new building would make the professional activities of lawyers more dynamic and comfortable.The welcome address and moderation of the event were conducted by Advocate Mahmudul Islam Konok, General Secretary of the District Bar Association. Among others Advocate Abdus Salam Talukder, Joint General Secretary of the Bar Association, Advocate Abul Kalam Azad, Librarian and a large number of lawyers were present at the event. At the end of the program, an annual luncheon was organized by the Bar Association, turning the occasion into a joyful gathering.
