The inauguration of the office of the annual self-industry organization and eStore was held in the afternoon at the intersection of Battala Hat in Chapainawabganj with the aim of making the poor and helpless disabled people self-reliant.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Swapan Kumar Karmakar, Deputy Director, Department of Youth Development, Chapainawabganj, as the chief guest, Firoz Kabir, Social Service Officer (Reg.) as the special guest; Also present were Dr. Mushfir Rahman Manik, Medical Officer, 250-bed hospital; Abdul Barek, Former Councilor Director, Chamber of Commerce, PTI’s Abul Bashar Ward No. 15, Sentu Ali, Former President, Chapainawabganj Division.

The ceremony was presided over by Mukul Kumar Das, President, Annual Self-Industry Organization. The overall management was carried out by Md. Abdul Matin, entrepreneur and founding director.

The goals and objectives of the organization include providing computer training to disabled people at low cost and free of cost, assistance in obtaining necessary materials, provision of various training facilities, and developing disabled people as self-entrepreneurs by involving them in the mainstream of society.

The speakers said that this initiative will play an important role in increasing employment and self-reliance of disabled people.
