Ramgarh BGB distributes medical services and educational materials
In addition to protecting the country’s borders, preventing drug and smuggling, and maintaining peace and harmony in the areas under its responsibility, Ramgarh 43 BGB of Khagrachari is playing a leading role in various public service activities including socio-economic development, agriculture, education, relief, medical and financial assistance.
In continuation of this, on Monday, January 26 morning, under the overall guidance of Zone Commander Lt. Col. Md. Ahsan ul Islam, BGOM, PSC, free medical services and medicines were distributed among the poor and helpless small ethnic groups and Bengali people living in the Banvihar area of Ramgarh Union No. 01, approximately 3.5 km away from Ramgarh Upazila Sadar.
At the same time, as part of the educational assistance, a computer and educational materials have been distributed to improve the quality of education at Nakapa Islamia Dakhil Madrasa. The Medical Officer and Assistant Director of Ramgarh Zone were present during the said medical campaign and distribution of computers and educational materials.
Lt. Col. Ahsan-ul-Islam, Commander of Ramgarh 43 BGB, said that such humanitarian activities will continue in the future to improve the quality of life of the poor and helpless people living in the responsible areas.
