The 3-day Agricultural Technology Exhibition Fair-2026 was inaugurated in Kumarkhali, Kushtia under the Sustainable Agricultural Extension Project in Jessore region. On this occasion, on Monday, January 26, at 10:30 am, a colorful rally was organized by the Department of Agricultural Extension, Kumarkhali, Kushtia, from the Upazila Parishad premises and after circumambulating the city, gathered at the Abul Hossain Torun Auditorium.
At 11:00 am, a discussion meeting was held at the Abul Hossain Torun Auditorium ground after the inauguration of the Agricultural Technology Exhibition Fair-2026. The discussion meeting was chaired by Kumarkhali Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Farjana Aktar, and agriculturist Dr. Md. Shawkat Hossain Bhuiyan, Deputy Director, Department of Agricultural Extension, Farm House, Kushtia, spoke as the chief guest. At the beginning of the discussion meeting, Kumarkhali Upazila Agriculture Officer Raisul Islam delivered a welcome speech.
Md. Wahiduzzaman, Additional Deputy Director (Grains), Department of Agricultural Extension, Khamarbari, Kushtia, and Navid Sarwar, Assistant Commissioner, Land, Kumarkhali, Kushtia, delivered a speech as special guests.
At this time, officials and employees of various departments of the upazila, journalists from print and electronic media, and dignitaries were present.
Upazila Agriculture Extension Officer Md. Kawsar Ali conducted the program. After the program, the officials present visited various stalls. The fair will run from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm every day.
