A huge public meeting was held at the initiative of the BNP Mohila Dal in Kachchhpia Union of Ramu Upazila of Cox’s Bazar.
The public meeting organized in Ward No. 3 of Kachchhpia Union on Sunday, January 25, turned the entire area festive with the participation of local leaders and activists and a large number of women supporters.
Former MP Lutfar Rahman Kajal’s wife Shirin Rahman was present as the chief guest at the public meeting.
Kachchhpia Union BNP President Syed Alam, General Secretary Maymunul Haque Mamun, Union Jubo Dal General Secretary Shahinur Rahman Shahin, along with leaders of affiliated organizations, leaders of various levels of BNP Mohila Dal and local dignitaries were present as special guests.
In her speech as the chief guest, Shirin Rahman said that in the current political context of the country, BNP leaders and activists should be more united and play an active role in the field. She said, “Women have played a leading role in the movement and struggle throughout the ages.
The BNP Women’s Party will also play an important role in the upcoming elections and democratic movement.” She also said that everyone should vote for the BNP to restore the people’s voting rights and democracy.
At this time, she called on the party leaders and activists to stand by the people and share their joys and sorrows and expressed her determination to further strengthen the party through sacrifice and struggle.
Other speakers at the public meeting emphasized the need to organize the party well under the leadership of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.
They said that BNP has no alternative to the country’s development, democracy and the protection of people’s fundamental rights. The speakers placed special emphasis on increasing women’s political awareness and active participation.
After the meeting, the leaders and activists filled the entire area with party slogans and various slogans in favor of the rice sheaf.
