On Friday (January 23) morning in Sariakandi, Bogura, BNP’s nominated candidate for Bogura-1 constituency, Alhaj Kazi Rafiqul Islam, started his paddy sheaf election campaign by visiting the grave of Sariakandi Thana BNP founder general secretary and freedom fighter Late ABM Rezaul Karim Matin Mondal.

After visiting the grave, he held mass rallies and road meetings in Chaihata, Bhelabari, Jorgachha, Sonapur and Banshhata areas of Bhelabari Union seeking paddy sheaf votes in the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections.

At that time, former Upazila BNP President Kazi Erfanur Rahman Rentu, former General Secretary Shahajat Hossain Paltan, Municipal BNP President Shahadat Hossain Sony, Vice-President Mujahidul Islam Polash Mondal, General Secretary Adv. Shariful Islam Hira, former Municipal BNP Convener Iqbal Kabir, Upazila JASAS President Abdur Razzak Raju, General Secretary Mizanur Rahman Milon, Organizing Secretary Delwar Hossain Jhantu, along with leaders and activists of Upazila and Municipal BNP and affiliated organizations were present.
