The Department of Development Studies organized a daylong farewell reception and cultural program at Islamic University in Kushtia on Wednesday.

The program was presided over by the Chairman of the Department, Assistant Professor Atifa Kafi. Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Nakib Muhammad Nasrullah attended the event as the chief guest, while the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Professor Dr. Begum Roksana Mili present as a special guest.

The welcome speech was delivered by former Dean of the Faculty of Theology, Professor Dr. Asrafi Siddique. Former Chairman of the Department of Development Studies, Professor Dr. Rakiba Yasmin, also spoke at the event. Assistant Professors M. H. Nahid and Firoz Hossain, Lecturer Sadiur Rahman, along with other faculty members and students of the department, were also present on the occasion.

The farewell reception concluded with a vibrant cultural program, adding color and joy to the event and leaving lasting memories for all attendees.
