On the occasion of the 13th National Parliament Election and referendum, a yard meeting has been held at the initiative of Sreepur Municipality of Gazipur to motivate people about the referendum.

The yard meeting was held at the Sreepur Municipality Open Forum on Tuesday at 12 noon with the slogan “The loss of change is now in your hands.”

Local people of different classes and professions, including men and women from different wards of Sreepur Municipality, participated in the yard meeting.

The role and responsibilities of voters in the upcoming National Parliament Election and referendum, the importance of exercising voting rights, and the need for active participation in the democratic process were discussed in detail.

Sreepur Municipality Executive Officer Badruzzaman said that to ensure a fair, free and acceptable election and referendum, every citizen must be aware.

They urged voters to further strengthen the country’s democratic system by exercising their respective voting rights.
