The 57th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Amanullah Mohammad Asaduzzaman Asad, the great hero of the 1969 mass uprising, was celebrated in Shibpur, Narsingdi.

On this occasion, various political parties, educational institutions, and social organizations paid tribute by placing wreaths at the tomb of Shaheed Asad in Dhanua on Tuesday (January 20) morning.

Those who paid tribute were BNP Joint Secretary General and Narsingdi District BNP President, former MP Khairul Kabir Khokon, General Secretary Manjur Elahi, Vice President Freedom fighterTofazzal Hossain, Upazila BNP President Freedom fighter Abul Haris Rikabder, General Secretary Freedom fighter Abu Salek Rikabder, Former Upazila Chairman, Abdul Mannan Bhuiyan Parishad Member Secretary Arif ul Islam Mridha, Shibpur Government Shaheed Asad College, Shibpur Government Pilot Model High School, Shaheed Asad Collegiate Girls School and College and various organizations.
