On the occasion of the 13th National Parliament Election and Referendum 2026 on February 12, the Upazila administration conducted an awareness meeting campaign in Trishal, Mymensingh with a super caravan of voting cars.

On Sunday, at the Government Nazrul Academy ground, various public awareness activities of the government were presented to the people present through speeches and videos of the voting car caravan to create public awareness in the referendum, motivate and create interest in voters to vote, and vote yes.

The guests present, chaired by Trishal Upazila Executive Officer Arafat Siddiqui, said that before the start of the broadcast of the voting cars, voters will determine and support the course of the future of Bangladesh by voting yes/no.

The speakers also expressed their hope that by voting yes in the referendum, voters will set a new course for the country, including the implementation of the July National Charter.

In the president’s speech, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Arafat Siddiqui said, “We stand on the blood of the July martyrs.”

If you want to benefit from the July uprising that took place in exchange for hundreds of fresh lives, if you want state reform, if you want change, you must vote yes in the referendum.

And if you don’t want reform, you can vote no. The decision is yours. But before making a decision, you must carefully decide who you want to give the responsibility of the future of Bangladesh to.

How will he or she run the country? We want the upcoming thirteenth national parliament election to be transparent, fair, impartial and festive. We are prepared for that and we are committed to this.

That is why the government has organized a campaign of voting cars across the country. So that people across the country get a clear idea about the upcoming elections. He expressed hope that the caravan, which started its activities today, will strengthen the campaign for votes not only in urban areas but also in remote areas.

Secondary Education Officer Mofizul Islam, Officer-in-Charge of Trishal Police Station Firoz Hossain and others delivered further speeches at the time.
