The Muradnagar Students’ Welfare Association, a regional organization of Comilla University (CoU), organized a freshers’ reception ceremony for students of the 2024-25 academic session.

The event was held on Saturday (January 17) at the auditorium of the Faculty of Science.

The program began with the recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by cultural performances, and concluded with sports competitions. Along with current and newly admitted students and former members of the association.

Speaking on the occasion, General Secretary of the Muradnagar Students’ Welfare Association, Md. Saiful Islam, said that he felt proud and delighted to be reunited with brothers and sisters from the 1st to the 19th batches at the freshers’ reception and reunion. He stated that as a non-political organization, the association prioritizes maintaining mutual brotherhood and working collectively for the welfare of students from Muradnagar.

In his presidential address, Md. Saidul Hasan said‚ ‘The association is delighted to bring together both new and senior students at the event. I urge freshers to remain focused on your goals, enhance your skills, manage time effectively, and stay committed to your academic goals so that you can grow into honest and competent individuals.’

The event concluded with enthusiastic participation, reflecting unity, harmony, and a strong sense of belonging among the students.
