National Education Week-2026: Sukumar Barua selected as the best scout teacher at the upazila level
Sukumar Barua, a senior teacher of Gorjania High School in Ramu upazila of Cox’s Bazar district, has been selected as the best scout teacher at the upazila level at a function organized to celebrate National Education Week-2026.
He was awarded this honor in recognition of his long-standing dedication to education and scouting activities, skilled leadership, relentless contribution to instilling moral and human values in students, and making school-based scout activities active and fruitful.
Reacting to this, Sukumar Barua, who was selected as the best scout teacher, said, “This honor is not for me alone, it belongs to my school, colleagues, students and everyone associated with the scout movement.
My main goal is to develop students in morality, discipline and patriotism through scouting. I want to continue working in this continuity in the future as well.”
Teachers, students, parents and local education stakeholders of Gorjania High School expressed joy and pride in this achievement.
