A good social system,a good state system must be ensured.Where no one will be outside the justice system.Where no one will get away with corruption.That everyone will love the country and that the country will be above all else,that is our desire.We must remove the rights that have been taken away from us in the past.Those rights must be reaffirmed through spontaneous participation in the upcoming national parliamentary elections and referendums.

Shamim Ara Rini, Deputy Commissioner of Bandarban and Returning Officer of Parliamentary Constituency No.300 made these remarks at a meeting titled “Referendum and Compliance with Election Code of Conduct” on the occasion of the 13th National Parliament Election in Rowangchhari Upazila of Bandarban.

At this time Dc Bandarban said, “We are actually going to organize a fair, accountable and neutral election.” So we have to ensure our lost rights through a referendum. At this time she Added, people are the owners of all power and She expressed his strong conviction that the people will play their due role in building a beautiful Bangladesh of the future. Dc Bandarban also called for raising awareness among local people about the election through campaigning.

The meeting held on Monday (January 12) was presided over by Rowangchhari Upazila Executive Officer and Assistant Returning Officer Tajmin Alam Tuli. Executive Magistrate Jaya Dutta, Principal of Rowangchhari College Jerry Royalthan Lian Buiting, Rowangchhari Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Humayun Kabir, Upazila Election Officer (Acting) Sunirmal Barua and others were present at the event.

Local public representatives and civil society figures were present at the event. At the end of the meeting a leaflet distribution program was inaugurated to promote widespread awareness and motivate voters about the referendum.
