The District Narcotics Control Department conducted a raid in the Aurangabad area and arrested a drug dealer with 43 bottles of Indian liquor, which is banned for import.

The District Narcotics Control Department said this in a press release sent to journalists on Monday evening. Based on a secret tip-off, a team led by Assistant Director of the Narcotics Control Department Md. Nazmul Haque conducted a special anti-drug drive on Monday (January 12) at around 2 pm on the Bishiusha road in Aurangabad area of ​​Kailati Union of Sadar Upazila and arrested a drug dealer with 43 bottles of Indian liquor, which is banned for import.

At that time, the battery-powered auto-rickshaw was also seized as it was involved in drug trafficking.

The arrested drug dealer is Syed Rakibul alias Kalam (21), son of Syed Shahidullah of Tetulia Mirapara village of Madanpur union of Sadar upazila.

Inspector Md. Al Amin of the District Narcotics Control Department filed a regular case against the arrested Syed Rakibul under the Narcotics Control Act at Netrokona Model Police Station.
