On the occasion of the organization’s 8th founding anniversary, the Gouripur Journalist Unity Forum in Mymensingh felicitated fifteen local eminent personalities for their contributions to society in various fields.

On Thursday (January 8) afternoon, the reception was officially given at the auditorium of the Muktijoddha Complex Bhaban under the chairmanship of the organization’s president Md. Shahjahan Kabir Hira and moderated by General Secretary HT Tofazzal Hossain.

Those who were felicitated in various categories – eminent ophthalmologist AKM Muktadir, Dr. Abdul Mannan (posthumous), freedom fighter Abdus Sattar Mandal, Abdul Hannan, July Movement martyr Noor-e-Alam Siddiqui Rakib, Biplob Hasan, Zubair Ahmed’s family, prominent writer Azam Zahirul Islam (posthumous), journalist Kazi MA Munayem (posthumous), founding director of Gouripur Sangeet Niketan MA Hai, journalist Md.
