Prayer mahfil held in Sreepur for the repose of Khaleda Zia’s soul
A prayer mahfil was held in Sreepur, Gazipur, seeking the repose of the soul of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
The prayer mahfil was held at the Barmi Bazar Muktomanche in Sreepur Upazila on Tuesday (January 6) afternoon under the initiative of Roknozzaman Russell Morol, former senior joint secretary of Barmi Union BNP. Abdul Motaleb, convener of Sreepur Upazila BNP, was present as the chief guest at the prayer mahfil.
Upazila BNP member secretary Khairul Kabir Mandal Azad and former vice-president of Gazipur District BNP, Sheikh Abdul Razzak, were present as the distinguished guests.
Present as special guests were Barmi Union BNP convener Masud Sarkar, Barmi Union BNP former organizing secretary Abul Hossain, Gazipur District Weavers’ Party member secretary Al-Amin Akand, senior joint convener Abu Sayeed Khoka, Ward 5 BNP former general secretary Jahangir Alam, Barmi Union Sramik Dal former president Masud Bhuiyan, and leaders of various units of other union BNP organs and associate organizations.
The prayer mahfil was conducted by Barmi Union 7 Ward Sramik Dal BNP president Nur Mohammad and general secretary Hasan Fakir.
